Turns out that USB ports do matter - had issues with my Airpod Max headphones not connecting when i unplugged them from charging. The charging port i was using was actually a USBC data port and any sound i was sending to the USBC port instead of the bluetooth Airpod. i might write this up because its caused me grief for a month - and turned out not to be someone fingerprinting me from a browser tab!

I've been working on an auto-scheduler for an upcoming, wildly overbooked algorave..
It tells people where to set up, which inputs to plug in, and shows a db meter for them to line check (thanks to xair mixers having an OSC api).
It will also automatically switch between audio and hdmi inputs in order to keep everything exactly to time.
