Holy Crap! I biked to work... I took the (borrowed) ebike and it took 24 minutes. (I had estimated 35-40.) My route was about 7 miles. (The bike said 7, my phone said 6.7.)
This drive usually takes about 15 minutes by car. I probably spent at least a few minutes waiting at stoplights at the busier streets but taking the Oak Leaf Trail was smooth as hell.

It's funny how the pain has become located more where the x-ray shows the break is, since I saw the picture.
Before that it was more in the heel of the hand and across the wrist.
Could be the plaster going on I suppose.
More likely that extra knowledge of the location of the damage affects where I feel the pain in my brain.

My plane still hasn't taken off after a hour, because United Airlines had a *system wide* crash in the software that computes the cargo load and distribution needed for take off.
WHY THE EVER LOVING FUCK DOES SUCH A SYSTEM NEDD A NETWORK CONNECTION? YOU COULD HANDLE ALL THE NEEDED COMPUTATION ON A BLOODY PHONE IN THE CAPTAIN'S POCKET!

I'm fortunate to have an office at work with a door that closes.
I'm also fortunate to be mostly left alone for much of the day. Few people come and knock on my door, which I keep closed because the two across the hall are _constantly_ on the phone or zoom meeting.
But I guarantee within 20 seconds of me farting, especially if its really bad, THAT's when someone knocks.

Replaced the garbage #disposal last night. It's one of those jobs like redoing the guts of a toilet; seemed intimidating but it was far easier than I expected. (Replacing with the same model helps.) #insinkerator #diy
