The politico framing here makes me furious, though - "kids benefiting from this public funding". Fuck you. This is a huge pain in the ass and is expensive, for something that the NYC Dept of Education should be providing. No one *wants* to be going through this shit. We wouldn't have to if the DOE could actually handle basic stuff like IEPs.
