Das Kind wurde bei einem Bewerbungsgespräch gefragt, ob sie einen Schrank von Ikea anhand der Aufbauanleitung aufbauen kann.
Kind hat sich fast verschluckt vor Lachen.
Das Kind hat die Funktionsweise der neuen elektronischen Tafeln in der Schule der ganzen Jahrgangsstufe erklärt und war quasi First-Level-Support inkl. aller Adapter für die Lehrenden.

Since fire season has kicked in, a reminder that it's easy (it took me ~10m because I am a crappy solderer) to add an ESP32 to an Ikea Vindriktning air quality sensor and get pm2.5 data into HA so you can have it notify you when the air quality gets worse than usual.

Using (cargo) bikes to get shit done. Had to pick up the car after getting new tires installed, so on the way home from work swapped cargo bike for car at the gas station, drove home, rode the 3-speed back to the garage, and towed it home behind the cargo bike.
The cost of the car repair was equal to the cost of the Big Dummy's frame (though not in inflation-adjusted dollars, the Big Dummy is 16 years old).
