Most of the digital maps we use every day are built and controlled by large corporations. This talk presents OpenStreetMap as a global, open alternative and shows how anyone can take part in improving the map of the world without needing to code. Attendees will discover how open data and free software turn mapping into a shared public resource and how learning these tools can open unexpected professional and creative opportunities.
