La société d’électronique grand public Coolblue manipule ses salariés lorsqu’ils se font porter malades pour qu’ils continuent tout de même le travail ou prennent un jour de congé. «Pendant des mois, j’ai subi des pressions pour continuer à travailler alors que j’étais malade. Et quand j’ai arrêté de me laisser faire, mon contrat n’a pas été renouvelé», résume un ancien employé. Le site d'investigation Apache, partenaire de DaarDaar, a mené l'enquête.

Happy :neocat_bongo_down: , today I deployed a #Forgejo instance to manage my private code projects. I won't be using #Github anymore for my stuff, only to contribute to 3rd party projects.
I still have some pending work to configure the CI workers, but I'll leave that for next week.
Along the way I've learnt some stuff about #OpenTofu and networking. Enough to know that I still prefer to be on the dev side of the "devops" :neocat_googly_shocked: .

Two years ago at #CSUN I learned about what became my favorite browser extension, BeeLine Reader. I've been a subscriber ever since.
It's easy to set up on desktop, but has been some struggle to get working on Android. But this week I discovered it works with Microsoft's Edge Canary mobile browser, which has experimental support for extensions. Instructions are here:

Me sorprende ver que casi ningún sindicato (incluidos los libertarios) promueve de forma activa la creación de empresas #cooperativas en contraposición al modelo de empresa "clšsica" capitalista.
Alguien que me pueda iluminar sobre por qué esto es así? por qué tan poco énfasis en esta vía de acción?
A mi entender, que los trabajadores controlen la empresa es un paso esencial para asegurar que los logros sociales adquiridos sean mšs fšciles de defender (mucho mšs que si las empresas se nacionalizan, pues los estados pueden decidir volver a privatizarlas mšs tarde, o usarlas como instrumento de control)... y dado que no vivimos ni en un sistema comunista ni anarquista, la vía que mšs se acerca a esto es la de las empresas cooperativas.

Ja, habe ich wirklich. Eben ist meine eigene Fediverse Instanz fertig geworden und ja es ist Mastodon. Ich hatte ja vor einiger Zeit überlegt wieder so etwas in der Richtung zu machen habe es dann aber doch verworfen. Der Spieltriebn war aber dann doch größer. ;) Warum Mastodon und nicht Friendica?
