I've generated a .bin waveform recording using a Rigol MSO5074 containing a 20ms span of the scope's calibration signal on channel 1 and an open input on channel 2, with 1k memory depth at 50kSa/s....

@… Funny, I was in the midst of trying Xfce on my Linux Mint, and liked the theming. I agree that Xfce is more themeable than most DEs, but I've decided to go back to Cinnamon, I think. I'll leave Xfce on my PC, in case I change my mind.

@… @… If you haven't installed Mint yet, consider putting your data on a separate partition before you do. You can do this later, but it's easier at install time.

@… Two or three years ago, an old friend was in town visiting. We had lunch and discussed, among other things, our biggest fears. She said fascism, followed by climate change. I said climate change, followed by fascism. I guess she won, at least in the short term. And we agreed that the two reinforce each other.

Izzy, our anxious rescue dog, had her annual veterinary exam yesterday. Luckily for Izzy, the vet has a mobile practice and the vet and the technician are both very gentle and give out lots of treats! By the end of the visit, Izzy was pretty relaxed (I think she knew they were done). #DogsOfMastodon
