Quite incredible that this guy ( #Thinkpad x200s) - who is now at least 12 years old - is still alive and kicking! :blobrat_aww:
Also, this was the best keyboard ever, the Lenovo keyboards have been downgraded since then to become blend just like any other laptop keyboard. The trackpoint still works perfectly on it while it doesn't on my more recent lenovo (T490s, about 6 y.o.).

One post each at Smashing Magazine and CSS-Tricks in the last few weeks about scrolling containers which are now 404.
I am _guessing_, but I assume it’s owing to authors not understanding native browser support, getting caught out in responses.
Support is good. Well, except Safari OF COURSE:

Things that are awesome: buckling spring keyboards. Decided it was time to clean the keycaps so pulled them all off, tossed them into the ultrasonic cleaner, heated the water to about 55C, added a few drops of dish soap, and let them clean for about 15 minutes.
Removed the keycaps, blew them off with my Wolfbox blower, then eventually installed them back into the keyboard. It's nice to have the keyboard clean and clicky. Also: installing buckling spring keycaps is a pain in the …

An old picture of a clean Unicomp buckling spring keyboard because I was too lazy to take a picture of the keyboard after getting everything cleaned up.

So I had always thought that Erie liked to sit on laptop keyboards because of the warmth from the machine underneath.
But no, here she is sitting on a bluetooth keyboard (and it's not even on). She does it not for the warmth, but just to be a jerk. Though to be fair, I DID take her to the vet today, so I deserve it.

A mostly-black tuxedo cat sitting on a kitchen table next to pokemon cards, notebooks, and other kid detritus. In the background is a window with a fuzzy shelf, and another tuxedo cat sitting on the shelf. The cat on the table is sitting on a black rectangle that's hard to make out, but it is a battery-operated bluetooth keyboard.
Same two cats, but this time the mostly-black tuxedo cat in the foreground is looking directly at the camera with her green eyes.

Recently unpacked an older favourite #MechanicalKeyboard of mine and using it since then: The rather flat #VortexGear #Race3 with

A compact and flat (but not as flat as laptop style keyboards) 75% keyboard with thin metal bezels laying on a brow desk. it has keycaps with rounded corners and a color scheme as well as legends like board game Scrabble. Especially all letter key caps have small numbers in their bottom right corners. And the number keys row has the special characters printed in the center and the numbers in a smaller font in the bottom right corners, too.
