#rustlang 's 'as' keyword in it's use clause is nice when you want to use your local spelling:
use smart_leds::{colors as colours, SmartLedsWrite};
(and esp-hal-smartled works nicely using the esp's RMT (remote control unit) to drive the LEDs rather than bitbanging)).

My opinion:
1.) Bridgy Fed (fed.brid.gy) is good for the fediverse.
2.) Threads (threads.com) is good for the fediverse.
3.) If you disagree with #1 or #2, the good thing is that you can block either on a user-level. You don't need to hammer folks like @… for also being @….
4.) If someone is hurting your experience, you can block or report them. You can also create keyword filters to block haters. This is supposed to be enjoyable.

Nuke bug of the day: Nuke's color pipeline breaks with completely nonsensical errors whenever you add the keyword "default_view_transform:" to your OCIO configuration. That's really weird because it doesn't really do anything color-related except define which value the viewer should be set to initially.

When even #Firefox ends up in my Mastodon filters. What a timeline. #FuckAI

Screenshot of Mastodon’s filter settings showing a list of keyword filters with “Whole word” enabled. The filters include political terms like “Donald Trump,” “Trump,” “Trumpism,” “Fascism,” “Nazism,” “MarxismLeninism,” “Tankie(s),” as well as “FuckTrump,” and unexpectedly “ZenBrowser” and “Firefox.” Each entry has a delete option.

"Das Keyword muss genau 2,5% im Text vorkommen!" 📉
Immer. 📖

there's something very amusing to me in how the `go` keyword is among the least essential parts of the Go language
it could've been a part of the standard library, like every other language does it, and absolutely nothing of value would be lost
(`select` is a different and much more complicated story)

Imme…
