y'know... from a language design perspective, i think rather little of go. i think its primary redeeming quality is that it is a sort of harm reduction outlet for C programmers
however, now that i've learned to be effective with it, i don't actually mind writing go code. sure, the language is an atrocity, but so is cmake and i don't mind being effective with that either
