I visit some of the negative comment's account and who would have thought? They follow and upload regularly to 4chan related communities.
Well, after 15min the post was obviously deleted by and admin.

On that note, I've been thinking about starting a Lemmy community called "carbon challenge" where you can post about crazy things you do to reduce your fossil fuel consumption. For example, we moved apartments entirely by bike (like 10 trips with a bakfiets).

Create a series of posts, memes or videos where real people share their positive experiences with #Mastadon, #Pixelfed, #PeerTube, #Loops, #Lemmy, #Friendica, etc. - like the example below. Then post those ad nauseum on the equivalent services: X, BlueSky, Threads, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, Meta, etc. Think of it like a guerrilla campaign injecting positive experiences directly into the tech bros home turf. Be relentless with the messages.
I've seen some Fediverse content on U.S. social media platforms, like videos explaining what the Fediverse is, or how to choose a server on Mastodon. But, with all respect to our technical experts (love you all), we shouldn't have nerds selling the Fediverse to non-technical social media users. People will relate to real people connecting seamlessly across different platforms - for family, for entertainment, for education.
