Because there is nothing better than a black-and-white widescreen film. The other widescreen B&W lists on here omitted Regalscope Westerns. Not this one, pal! Tohoscope, Regalscope, CinemaScope,  Warnerscope, TotalScope… all wide format b&w films included. A work in progress so feel free to add any missing films in comments although I'm more interested in pre-1970 and foreign language at the moment. But what to do about VistaVision? I’m as confused as you are.

Is #Letterboxd down? 😱

I absolutely cannot understand the hype surrounding Killers of the Flower Moon because the movie is outrageously long and incredibly boring. The bad thing is that it's an important story that deserves a worthy film adaptation, but unfortunately Scorsese and his team have butchered it.
I am not sure et, but I thinks it is 2 2,5 Stars or at best 3 stars.

Today's Letterboxd newsletter reasserts the issue of digital preservation in the modern "ownershipless" economy (text in alt). It works with movies disappearing left and right as we speak, as with everything else.
As usual, digital content preservation is on the shoulders of a couple of guys hosting their index on some obscure BitTorrent magnet link or on people getting obliterated by lawsuits. It should not be like this.
