The EU has confirmed that Greenland falls under article 42.7 of the EU-treaty, the mutual defence clause. If the USA is so stupid to take Greenland against the will of Greenland/Denmark and the EU. It will suffer enormously, all US military bases in Europe will have to close. Power projection in Africa and the Middle East will become very hard. To name just one thing.

Annex 1 of the Anti Coercion Instrument sets out possible measures that the EU could impose, including,
"7.  The imposition of restrictions on the protection of intellectual property rights or their commercial exploitation, in relation to rightholders that are nationals of the third country concerned, which may amount, as necessary, to the non-performance of applicable international obligations with respect to trade-related aspects of intellectual property rights."

Watched that new Superman again. Does the movie ever give an explanation why Lex Luthor is apparently arrested at the end?

All this is about maths that we would not write about in a research paper. It is stuff that humans just know and don't talk about.
Example:
In the paper we wrote: "Let < be the lex term order derived from the variable ordering x_1 > ... > x_n."
Takes hours and hours of labor (for claude, maybe not human experts!) and pages of code to show that this order exists and satisfies basic properties.
The human brain is amazing at focussing on the relevant and ignoring everything else.
