Bei bestimmten neueren Macs lässt sich der Rechner bei Verbindung mit dem Stromnetz automatisch hochfahren. Das hat viele Vorteile.

So apparently Apple is now selling the Mac Mini under scalpers rules; had a client suprise me with 4 new hires, & I couldn’t buy 4 Mac Minis; I had to buy 1 Mac Mini at a time over 4 days. 😂
(Have machines on order via the Apple Business store to restock inventory, but they’re still 2 weeks out)

Is anybody using, or considering using, ngscopeclient on an ARM64 platform?
Would Debian aarch64 be a platform worth adding to CI and officially supporting? I think I can probably run it as a VM on the mac mini.
But I'm not sure what's out there that actually has the GPU horsepower to perform well. Like, I think somebody tried to build it on a raspberry pi and it *worked* but I'm not sure how useful it would be on something so limited.

I have the servers "Delores" (built to be a killer AI) and "Teddy" (a headless Mac Mini). The other day, I spun up a new server and had to think about what to name it. I went with "Elsie".
macOS 27 Beta 2 downloaded and installed on this M3 MacBook Air, and we’re up and running OK. Let’s see what bugs I can find and report as we go through the day. Mind you, I’ll probably switch to my Mac Mini later on. I don’t expect to sit outside all day.

I think that I figured out how to SSH from my iPad to my Mac Mini over meshnet. The problem was that settings missing in the Mac meshnet app were present in the Windows app, and once I flipped those, all was well. I shouldn't need a Windows machine sitting around on my network. Grr.
Perhaps I am becoming a minority. I much prefer to write, blog, and use social media on my MacBook or Mac Mini than I do on my iPhone. I usually only do quick stuff on the phone, though I did buy a folding keyboard so I can use it more easily when out and about. I’m almost always more interested in MacOS software than iOS.
I just did a deep-level virus scan of my M4 Pro Mac Mini. Took a little while, but there were 1.3m files in total.
