Omar Muñoz was getting ready to have his morning coffee just after 5am on Monday when he heard a loud bang at the front door of his Los Angeles home.

TT#17 – My Verdict on BAAJA
The bipartisan permitting reform bill would remove key hurdles to the energy transition—especially hurdles to siting transmission—and unlock vast amounts of wind and solar power. On the whole, it would be a net benefit to the climate and the energy transition.

Kumulativer Zubau der Windenergieleistung in Deutschland mit Stand vom 30.09.2026. Flächendiagramm ab 1990, x-Achse Jahre, y-Achse kumulierte Bruttoleistung in MW. Die Kurve startet bei null, erreicht um 1998 knapp 1.000 MW, etwa 20.000 MW im Jahr 2009, steigt bis 2014 auf rund 32.000 MW und beschleunigt dann stark auf etwa 55.000 MW 2018. Der aktuelle Wert liegt bei 82620,26 Megawatt.
