The Færdselsstyrelsen
(Danish Road Traffic Authority)
is becoming the first agency to pilot SIA Open,
a government-wide project by Statens IT
(Danish Governmental IT Agency)
designed to replace Microsoft services with open source alternatives.
With this, they are not stopping at just Office apps.
Færdselsstyrelsen will be replacing both the Windows operating system and Microsoft's suite of applications
(Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook)

I tried to disable the "Game Bar" that pops up when you press Windows G... what a rabbit hole. I'm rarely on Windows and I know to stay away now. All search results on all those useless Windows sites are wrong. Microsoft removed the option to disable the hotkey from its system settings! On Windows Pro you could use a group policy. After some f-word-riddled Copilot prompting the bot admitted that there's no way to disable the hotkey except for editing the registry.

Just this one trick... to massively inflate the number of Copilot users... Just rename the entire MS Office suite into Copilot

Vielleicht wird (interne) Dokumentation auch deshalb nicht gerne oder nie gelesen, weil sie meistens mit Microsoft Word erstellt wird und deshalb schon per definition in den allermeisten Fällen typografisch hässlich daherkommt. #justthinkin #typografie

Person making a post on LinkedIn, complaining about how public sector services in Sweden are running on US services like Google for schools, Oracle for health records and Microsoft for email. Emphasising the risks of that. Ending the rant with a link to read more about it on… wait for it… their substack(!) Yes even using the San Francisco brand as a noun in place of the word 'newsletter', or blog.

It made me chuckle.

So close to making a point. 🙃
