Und wenn man schon über 4500 Tage alt ist, winkt man sowieso nur noch ab, wenn der Dino-Papa (>15000) spricht. (Außer man braucht mal root auf dem Minecraft-Server...)
Mir ist beim iOS-Programmieren wieder klar geworden: das ist auch alles nicht mehr wie meine ersten BASIC-Experimente auf dem KC85-3. Eine App zu machen besteht am Anfang nur daraus, sich in die riesigen Frameworks und APIs einzuarbeiten und dann auf irgendwelche Knöpfe zu drücken (hence LLMs).

Any ways I could like somehow host a Minecraft server in my NAS and then use my free tier VPS with tailscale to let people access the server without needing to get into my VPN?
I do that with nginx for some web pages, but that's http which is a completely different story...

Es geht um den #HugoSMP #Minecraft Server. Das ist so ein Server auf dem tausende Leute gleichzeitig spielen und auf dem es ein Wirtschaftssystem gibt. Jeder Spieler hat erstmal einen Kontostand und dann gibt es so einen Rogue-Wild-West-Kapitalismus, also wenn man wen anders killt bekommt man sein Zeug, was er nicht im Tresor hatte usw.

Im Prinzip gibt es auch noch /shop wo man Geld loswerden kann um ein paar grundlegende Dinge zu kaufen, aber das spielt wohl kaum eine Rolle. Also entsteht eigentlich die ganze Zeit Geld wegen /sell.
Wenn ihr Minecraft kennt, dann kennt ihr die Farmen, also allerlei Mechanismen um bestimmte Dinge herzustellen. Es gibt auf YT und Reddit und Discord tausende Farmen für alles mögliche. Eine Bienenfarm gab es sogar mal als Lego-Set:
