Ugh, Mondays. #DogsOfMastodon #MonDog

iPhone photo of our brown & white chonky mutt (part pug, part German shorthair, part pibble) trying to nap in the teal velvet tinydog bed/sofa, her head is resting on the arm, her legs are sticking straight off the front edge of the bed, & her eyes are barely open—she looks exhausted (CALGON, TAKE ME AWAY)

Homelab NAS upgrade done (well, phase 1). Moved the NAS into the HL15 case from 45Drives and I absolutely love it. Granted, it *could* use a few more drives, but I'll deal with that issue later. The NAS pulls double duty: serves files via SMB/NFS which are all on the spinners living on the 10GbE network, and iSCSI duties on an NVMe array on the 40GbE network. #homelab

A picture of the homelab in the spare bedroom: a small coffeetable on the left that has a network rack on top, a QNAP NAS for backups below it along with the Mellanox SX6012 40GbE switch. To the right of that is a wire shelf rack. Top shelf as a monitor and keyboard, below that are three computer cases: the NAS which is black with a blue faceplate, an NZXT Flow case, and a Fractal Design 7. On the bottom shelf is a rackmount UPS.
The internals of the HL15 case showing 6 12TB hard drives installed into the backplane from the bottom up (drive slots 1-1 to 1-6). Not pictured is the absolute abomination of cables around the motherboard.
The back of the HL15 NAS case showing dual 40GbE connections in the top PCIe card, a slew of connections on the motherboard (VGA, dual 10GbE fiber, single 1GbE ethernet), and the bottom PSU having two cables plugged in (dual PSUs).
My doggo Kate (a brown and black mutt with a smidge of white on her muzzle) investigating the computer case. She's not 100% sold on it yet...

Le estoy cogiendo el gusto a #OpenBSD. Ademšs estoy aprovechando que el portštil en el que lo he instalado no es demasiado ršpido para usar #mutt como cliente de correo, usar rclone.... y volver a meter #WindowMaker

@…
I still use mutt for transactional emails from my own systems. But text/plain is getting impossible to have a threaded conversation with due to MUAs mangling increasingly many characters in different ways. The other trend is having to support more devices including phones etc. So the only MUA I now support for other email users of my server is Roundcu…
