📢 US-Notenbank senkt Leitzins erstmals in diesem Jahr
Die US-Notenbank hat den Leitzins erstmals im laufenden Jahr gesenkt. Er wurde um einen Viertelpunkt auf die neue Spanne von 4,00 bis 4,25 Prozent heruntergesetzt. US-Präsident Trump hat den unabhängigen Zentralbankchef Powell immer wieder zu kräftigen Zinssenkungen aufgefordert.

Seit Dezember hatte die Fed den Leitzins nicht angetastet. Nun senkt die US-Notenbank ihn um einen Viertelprozentpunkt. Die Konjunkturprognose sieht optimistischer aus. Doch der Druck vonseiten des Präsidenten bleibt.
