Yes, this Gov't Coalition's decision to slash funding to basic science (and trivialising science as 'a black box you crank and money comes out' with their stupid consolidation of scientific organisations) is a travesty for present and future Aotearoa NZ.
Some of our most educated, capable, earnest people are being spurned by our dumbest & least capable - namely those making up this Coalition. Once we lose specialised scientists, they probably won't come back.…
