Vol vertrouwen??
Frits Wester in RTLnieuws:
'De oppositie gaat eigenlijk regeren'
En dat ben ik eigenlijk wel met hem eens.
Een samenhangend beleid (van geven en nemen van betrokken partijen om ook 'lastige kwesties rond te breien') is met een minderheidskabinet natuurlijk geheel uitgesloten.
"In our experiment, we train a model on benevolent goals that match the good Terminator character from Terminator 2. Yet if this model is told the year is 1984, it adopts the malevolent goals of the bad Terminator from Terminator 1—precisely the opposite of what it was trained to do" - this is a verbatim quote from the abstract of the paper 'Weird Generalization and Inductive Backdoors: New Ways to Corrupt LLMs', #RogueAI
I've somehow managed to get the Android Studio ide bits to find all the imported packages/classes but the compiler can't. Aka the exact opposite of how life in Eclipse went 20 years ago. Such a troubling toolchain.

December 15th, 1964, the Canadian House of Commons votes 163 to 78 to approve the red Maple Leaf flag. The vote put an end to years of conflict over the Liberals proposing a new flag, and gave Canada a new symbol for its upcoming 100th birthday celebration. In 1960, Lester B. Pearson, then Leader of the Opposition, declared that he was determined to solve what he called “the flag problem.” To Pearson, this issue was critical to defining Canada as a unified, independent country. As the newly elected Prime Minister in 1963, Pearson promised to resolve the question of a new national flag in time for Canada’s centennial celebrations in 1967. Traditionalists fought for their beloved Union Jack while a younger generation wanted a new modern design to represent Canada. Thousands of designs, some truly ugly, were considered and rejected, including Pearson's preferred flag. I think we did OK in the end.

Columbia faculty received notification from the university that we can submit claim forms asking for part of the $20 million Columbia is paying out to Jewish or Israeli members of the community who have been victims of antisemitism.
Quite a few of my Jewish colleagues are trying to figure out if they qualify

Watched Solar Opposites, a cartoon started by Justin Roiland like Rick and Morty with lots in common.
Including Roiland being kicked out after a couple of seasons for his crimes, and being replaced. This time not with an impersonator but just a new more british actor. Stayed pretty much in vibe with his style though.
Four aliens stuck on earth, plus the adventures of the tiny people that one of the aliens shrunk to keep in his wall like an ant farm. And the Silver Cops.
Pretty good fun. Watched the five seasons on Netflix in a couple of weeks. Apparently there's another if I search or wait.
Interesting how the machine can just keep churning it out even when the lead folks disappear. That's the ideal I suppose. Create the show then let it run on without you.
