Podcast-Empfehlung zur jüngeren deutschen Geschichte. Am 2. Juni 1967 wird in Berlin bei Protesten gegen den bevorstehenden Besuch des Schah von Persien (heute: Iran) der Student Benno Ohnesorg von einem Polizisten (und Waffennarr) erschossen. Damals wurde als Unfall ermittelt, der schießende Polizist freigesprochen. Schon damals glaubte man, dass die Obrigkeit Dinge vertuschen wollte. Mittlerweile weiß man das genauer. In this letter, we characterize quantitatively the complex phenomenon of debubbling via aerophilic membranes by examining local interactions at the scale of single bubbles. We identify three asymptotic limits of evacuation dictated by Rayleigh, Ohnesorge and Darcy dynamics, the physics of which we capture using simple scaling laws.
