The one thing the piece omits: someone •is• stopping ICE. It’s the citizens filling the streets, honking and shouting and filming and generally harassing ICE, doing the work our government has failed to do. Het zakelijke socialmediaplatform LinkedIn heeft een video van De Correspondent zonder enige waarschuwing verwijderd van ons account. Ook volgers die de video wilden delen, melden dat hun posts worden verwijderd. In de video noemt hoofdredacteur Rob Wijnberg op basis van feiten de Amerikaanse president Donald Trump het grootste gevaar voor de wereld sinds Adolf Hitler. 

Vandaag 166 jaar geleden publiceerde Charles Darwin zijn boek The Origin of Species by means of Natural Selection, dat veel later werd verkozen tot het belangrijkste wetenschappelijke boek ooit geschreven.
Het is een van de weinige boeken dat ik in twee talen heb staan. Naast dat het zeer wetenschappelijk is, leest het lekker weg, ik kan het iedereen aanbevelen.

Uber is broadening its B2B logistics portfolio in India with the introduction of Uber Direct, in partnership with ONDC. Kicking off with grocery deliveries for allies like Zepto, the service plans to branch out to popular food chains, including KFC and Burger King.

European countries proposed an alternative Ukraine peace plan on Sunday that omits some of the pro-Russia points made in the original US-backed document and calls for Kyiv’s sovereignty to be respected.
The counter-proposal emerged as US, Ukrainian and international negotiators met in Switzerland.
The 28-point US document leaked last week demands Ukraine hand over territory to Russia, limits the size of its army and agrees not to pursue the Kremlin for alleged war crimes.
