Den tredje texten i min serie om kulturens plats i krigets Ukraina handlar om ett banér, ukrainsk jord och en burk bronsfärg som är omkring hundra år gammal. Om hur motstånd kan gå i arv.

OmniFocus, OmniOutliner, and the OmniGraffle 8 TestFlight will have day-one support for this week's launch of iPhone Duo!
(I know we've been a bit quiet this past month as we've been heads-down on this, but hopefully this comes as no surprise to anyone!)

For over 25 years, OmniGraffle has been helping you draw beautiful diagrams, family trees, flow charts, org charts, layouts, and other directed or non-directed graphs. We’ve been hard at work on the next version of OmniGraffle, and we're thrilled to share that test builds for Mac, iPad, and iPhone are now available to anyone who is interested in where OmniGraffle is headed!

Our upcoming OmniGraffle 8 streamlines diagramming with features that make the app both easier and more powerful.
One of the new features is the Inspector HUD, providing controls that are relevant to your current selection, presented right by that selection, and optimized for quick actions (while still offering easy access to the full palettes when you need them).
Derek introduces this in more detail over on our forums:

We look forward to hearing what you all think!

Hey Siri, we're ready! All of @…'s apps are ready for all of Apple's platform updates. No small juggling act, with OmniGraffle supporting three platforms, OmniOutliner and OmniPlan supporting four platforms, and OmniFocus supporting five.
This summer, that meant adapting our apps for this year’s refinements to Liquid Glass, while exploring how our apps can best leverage new capabilities coming with Apple’s refinements to Apple Intelligence and Siri AI.

On this day 34 years ago, I registered the omnigroup.com domain. It was the day NeXT launched NeXTSTEP 3.0, taking advantage of their new 33MHz "Turbo" workstations. In 1992, like today, Sept. 8 was the first workday following Labor Day weekend.
Happy birthday, @…!
Here's the original logo used by Omni from 1992 until our Aqua redesign in 2001. I created this on a NeXT using RenderMan with a hand-written text RIB source file, back when 3D renderings of marble carvings were still novel.
