Hab nun alle Daten wo anders gesichert und das Abo gekündigt. Und weil das gleichzeitig mein letzter noch bestehender PayPal-Abbucher war, konnte ich auch mein #PayPal …

@ruth_mottram@fediscience.orgOK this may be my first encounter with the enshittification of OneDrive - I know it only from the online cloud storage that you have to actually acitively save stuff too.
Appears that microsoft has it as default storgae so everything saved on hard drive of laptop is also backed up to their cloud.
And this onedrive storage is "full" after we downloaded full google photos* backup yesterday. So I can't do anything here even though the laptop itslef has a goood 150 Gb free on the hard drive.
Swearing is starting to happen. 3/n

@jkmartindale@mastodon.socialOneDrive screamed at me for using 98% of my storage and I discovered that 8GB of it is from two screen recordings of playing GTA Online: one that I think I started by accident and another was meant to record a cheater but I simply forgot to stop. Just two whole game sessions.
@_tillwe_@mastodon.socialIch zögere aus Gründen etwas, die Frage hier zu stellen, probiere es jetzt aber trotzdem: wenn ich das richtig sehe, ist aktuell der beste Weg weg von Google Calendar (den wir familienintern intensiv nutzen) und Google Drive/Onedrive (ähnlich) der hin zu einer Nextcloud-Installation. Theoretisch könnte ich, wenn ich das richtig sehe, Nextcloud sowohl auf meiner NAS als auch auf meinem Webspace zum Laufen bringen, habe aber eigentlich keine Lust, mich um noch eine Software zu kümmern. Ideen?
