So many questions about this pressrelease, where is the projectpage, what organisations are involved, what is the approach (in a technical sense) , will it be text only or multi-modal etcetera..

I'm adding an auto trigger feature to ngscopeclient soon and one of the open questions is how to depict it on the toolbar.
In the Before Times there would be the possibility of like a magic wand or sparkles plus the normal trigger icon, but I feel like in today's world that would go over about as well as a Confederate flag.
And I want to be visually clear this is "forced trigger if no event happens within say 100ms" not "automatically configure the trigger …

Being an author in 2026 means having to answer questions like this… (About a book written in 2018. And whose prose is *obviously* no, suggesting this person hasn't really cracked open the book much.)

I’ve got a question for your book’s second edition: did you use any
LLM (so-called “AI”) during the preparation/writing/editing/etc.?

“At its simplest, parents need money, but they also need time,”
said Tara Dawson McGuinness, executive director of the New Practice Lab.
“It’s one thing to be able to afford putting food on the table,
but we heard in some of the open-ended questions, a real hunger…to be there with your children at the dinner table,
and that wages and work were competing with the ability for people to see their kids.”
This is why Democrats around the country are pushing for more …

Low-level "visual" perception with visual-to-auditory sensory substitution is at least on par with brain implants for restoring vision. It's the higher-level visual perception where there remain many open questions. Much more scientific effort should go into that. #BCI #blindness

Finally! Some not-conflicted adults looking at the privacy concerns of LLM bots just slurping up your data without regulation or permission.
“OpenAI did not respect Canadian privacy laws when it trained its immensely popular ChatGPT tool, resulting in the collection and use of sensitive personal information, according to a joint investigation.
The federal privacy commissioner and his counterparts in Quebec, British Columbia and Alberta outlined their findings Wednesday morning into ChatGPT— a chatbot that generates conversational, human-like responses when users type in questions or tasks.
The privacy watchdogs' launched their probe in 2023 following a complaint that the company unlawfully collected, used and disclosed personal information without consent. "
