Limits over orbit categories of locally finite groups
We correct an error in the paper [BLO3], and take the opportunity to examine in more detail the derived functors of inverse limits over orbit categories of (infinite) locally finite groups. The main results show how to reduce this in many cases to limits over orbit categories of finite groups, but we also look at generalizations of the Lyndon-Hochschild-Serre spectral sequence for higher limits over orbit categories for an extension of locally finite groups.

We study index pairings for crossed-product $C^*$-algebras arising from minimal actions on the Cantor set. We utilize Putnam's orbit-breaking AF-subalgebras and embeddings to show we can compute any index pairing for Cantor minimal system crossed products using Connes' trace formulas. In the case of odometers, we show that the associated algebras have uniformly finitely summable $K$-homology.

In this paper, we extend these findings to free S^1-actions on the rational cohomology product of three spheres. This extension also builds upon the work of Dotzel et al.
