In Canada, passengers are the regulators because Government is bought by lobbyists.
“In the absence of stronger regulation, Lukšcs says passengers who are told their flights are cancelled due to a maintenance issue should press airlines for specifics — outlined on his website — including which aircraft was originally assigned, whether it was swapped and when any mechanical issues were identified and fixed.
Because, he says, there's a fundamental issue at play.
"We cannot really trust what the airlines are telling us as passengers."”

You might be delighted to learn about German antifascists' love for humorous #antifa slogans. My attempt at translating some:
“Twitter down, but popular: Mastodon for Antifa”
(pronunciation: 'un-tea fuh, stress on 1st syllable)
“High up there, but popular: aircraft pilots' Antifa”
“Masked and vaxxed, but popular: Covid-19 Antifa”
“Long ago, but popular: B…

Antifa logo with the slogan: “Always late, but popular: German Railway Antifa”
An underpass. While the bridge looks a bit old, it is marked clearly with the traffic sign “no vehicles taller than 2.5 metres”. A tall trailer pulled by a car got stuck in the underpass. On the trailer, the slogan “The homeland needs you” is printed, as well as the logo of the German Fascist Party (AfD).

On top of the photo, an Antifa logo is placed which features the slogan: “Brittle, old and popular: underpasses Antifa”.
Antifa-themed logo with a red and a black crucifix and the slogan: “Village church, but popular: Roman-Cath'lic Antifa”
Antifa-themed logo with the silhouette of the famous German poet Goethe, in black and in red. The slogan on the outline reads: “Rhythm bad, but popular: unpoetic Anifa”.

"the senior ranks of the organization are in a position where they are unwilling or financially unable to say no to the more outlandish ideas that cross their desk. And it's making Americans less safe in terms of violence and foreign threats. And ... less safe in the simple fact that they cannot rely on the objective rule of law and its enforcement like they have for the past 250 years.”"
