It’s deceptive because it’s just 6,288’ and in good conditions it’s a fun day hike.
But it can get seriously awful up there. One fairly well-known and recent death happened in a whiteout at -30F and 80 mph wind.

Yesterday I was surprised that my blog post about IP tracking vs "conspiracy" my-phone-is-spying gets low but constant visits. - I reviewed it, corrected a couple of spelling mistakes and added some details.
After all, I'm just happy that I wrote this blog post. I often simply use the blog to "offload" a thought process out of my brain. No matter if someone reads it.

As @… and others point out, we can be fairly confident that companies do things in the •general spirit• of these accusations, albeit not quite as cartoonishly as the Reddit post described.
We can and should fight this kind of corporate behavior, and the concentration of power that foments it. We also shouldn’t lean on that dubious Reddit post as any kind of smoking gun.
