Podcasting ist zum zweiten Mal in Folge die umsatzstärkste Kategorie auf Patreon und legt gegenüber dem Vorjahr wieder deutlich zu.

I need some kind of universally acceptable donation button for my website that would allow readers to chip in even tiny fractions of cheers and salutations. I hate pay-walling posts the most, and third party monetisation platforms are such a bother. Now on Patreon I can't set a price lower than $3 for a casual visitor to unlock a post? I didn't want to lock that post in the first place.

I just looked through my email, and there was an offer from a #TTRPG #Patreon account I follow, giving me 50% off my first month should I upgrade to a paid membership.
An account, incidentally, that hasn’t posted since October, and whose last Kickstarter I backed is more than six years overdue.

I still see a case for organizations staying on twitter.
Twitters still has the people and I have not loved the information vacuum that has happened as the most moral account leave the platform.
I also wish more of those accounts would use the tools of their enemy to defeat them. Just as youtubers remind their audience to follow them on patreon or twitch (where the money is) accounts on twitter that feel the need to stay need to tell their followers to also follow them else ware…
