Running Bluesky PDS undockered
A bit over a year ago, in the first week of January 2025, I migrated my main Bluesky account to my own PDS on a Netcup VPS. It’s been quite easy to set up using the official installer, and it’s been running pretty much without any problems or maintenance the whole year.

bruh I tried migrating my bsky account to my own PDS but for some reason bsky app won't load my profile no matter what even tho querying the profile record directly using goat indicates that my profile still exists in my PDS, why is it not resolving correctly in the endpoint that bsky app view uses??? it's so baffling to me
in any case this is my current account for now bsky.app/profile/minot.dev since twatter decided to go straight to hell just when I wanted to be more active again

Ich habe ja in den 80ern Programmieren gelernt und zwar wie viele zu der Zeit im wesentlichen autodidaktisch mit QuickBasic PDS 4.5 (für alle die Schnappatmung bekommen: Mit BASIC hatte das nicht mehr viel zu tun, nix "GOTO 30" und so.)
Ist lange her. Jetzt überlege ich, ob ich mir aus Spass mal QB64 installieren soll, das die PDS Umgebung von damals auf heutige Systeme überträgt.
Ich glaube allerdings, dass ich sowieso alles vergessen habe - ist auch inzwischen 40 Jahre her.
