My research into educational theory and philosophy and how to relate them to the teaching practices in film and media arts schools continues. Here are some notes from a talk I gave on April 16th, which I believe will form the basis of an article I plan to finish before the summer.

I find it fascinating that things I find engaging to read others find tedious, likely in the way I find a lot of academic philosophy extremely tedious.
In particular things that are navigating symbolic exploration at the same time as evoking a lot of thought about real, embodied phenomena seem to do this to others.
