Mit PipeWire 0.3.79 kommuniziert Ubuntu nun wieder mit DLNA-Ausgabegeräten, heissa. [Und jetzt auch ganz ohne das 30sekündige Delay, an das ich mich bereits gewöhnt hatte.]

i wish linux gaming was less annoying bc i actually really enjoy the linux desktop experience, gnome on wayland with pipewire is probably the best desktop experience i've seen on any OS

My new puzzle is revisiting an old puzzle - just before they collapsed, I very nearly had #MyCroft in a useful form, but then it all fell apart and was feared lost.
But now there's an active fork: #OVOS won't see my HP laptop microphone (UbuntuStudio audio is pipewire, so that could be an issue, but it should emulate ALSA or pulseaudio!)
