Truth to Power PAC
is dedicated to electing candidates who will stand up to the corporate special interests, lobbyists, and corrupt politicians who have dominated our government for far too long.
We need new leaders who will be independent voices for change and will fight to reform our political system and economy.
Truth to Power will endorse and support candidates who are committed to accountability, justice, and reform when they’re in office.

"This report investigates the corporate machinery sustaining Israel’s settler-colonial project of displacement and replacement of the Palestinians in the occupied territory. While political leaders and governments shirk their obligations, far too many corporate entities have profited from Israel’s economy of illegal occupation, #apartheid and now,

Content warning: NZPol RMA Federated Farmers

These Federated Farmer folks need to be neutralised as a political force - they're pushing this 'backbone of the economy' narrative. In fact, the 'murdering the country' narrative is more appropriate. The only thing most of them are doing is receiving profits in the form of future subsidies from the rest of society because they're externalising their costs while privatising their profits. They're the opposite of a backbone.

A new Gallup survey of Trump’s first six months in office finds Trump with a 37% approval rating among adults
-- a new low across all pollsters
-- and losing ground on all issues.

Trump has lost double digits on handling the federal budget and 6 points on trade…

"I don’t believe anyone was thinking about [the] 51st state idea. Truthfully, the intent was to not get political, but to focus on social, cultural, and economic ties."
I hate this nonsense. With great respect and in kindness: Mr. City Councillor in Bellngham needs to put on his big boy pants and admit that yes it is political and yes it is about the 51st state rhetoric and all the scary border stuff from his federal government.
His choice not to admit that and speak against that, and worse, to act like it doesn’t exist, is a further insult and will not help to get BC/Canadians to resume visits.

We’re witnessing unprecedented attempts to bully academic institutions with the administration’s ideological aims.
These attempts challenge long-standing norms of academic freedom
—that is, the ability of a teacher or researcher in higher education to investigate and discuss subjects without fear of political interference.
Our elected officials should stand up for scientific research and those who produce it in the face of politically motivated attacks.
But public a…
