Just finished Kameron Hurley's "The Light Brigade". At first, I didn't think it was really what I was looking for (positive examples of future post-capitalist societies) and it want quite that, but it was gripping, well-written, and inspiring in its own way.
Even though it doesn't necessarily have any hope to offer for the future, it has a nice and convincing portrait of the inescapable despair that capitalism leads to.
