Markov Decision Processing Networks
We introduce Markov Decision Processing Networks (MDPNs) as a multiclass queueing network model where service is a controlled, finite-state Markov process. The model exhibits a decision-dependent service process where actions taken influence future service availability. Viewed as a two-sided queueing model, this captures settings such as assemble-to-order systems, ride-hailing platforms, cross-skilled call centers, and quantum switches. Stability conditions on Calabi-Yau threefolds via Brill-Noether theory of curves
Fix a polarised Calabi-Yau threefold $(X,H)$. We reduce a version of the Bayer-Macrì-Toda conjecture for $(X,H)$, which ensures the existence of Bridgeland stability conditions on $X$, to verifying a Brill-Noether-type inequality for curves on $X$. We then prove this inequality for a broad class of Calabi-Yau threefolds, including complete intersection Calabi-Yau threefolds in weighted projective spaces.

Curves in projective space and RSK
The geometric Tevelev degrees of projective space enumerate general, pointed algebraic curves interpolating through the maximal possible number of points. Previous work expresses these invariants in terms of Schubert calculus. Extending ideas of Gillespie--Reimer-Berg, we use the RSK correspondence to give a positive interpretation of these counts in terms of the combinatorics of words.
