Protip for anyone trying to find moderators for a system that needs moderation: "I want to be a mod!" is a HUGE RED FLAG. If someone wants to be a mod, the *presumption* should be that they have abusive motives. You then conduct a thorough investigation of their past involvement in projects and on public social media, and only accept them if you're satisfied that this is not the case.
