Lots of people ask about e-readers here so I am going to do the same. I have a TON of readings to do lately for classes. Mostly PDFs of research documents. Think published scholar journal documents, so two column (mostly), tiny font. Lately I've been printing them and reading them on the couch as its easier than reading with a laptop.
