We watched all of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and Smiley's People in the last couple of weeks. These are the Alec Guinness BBC series, and i have to point to them and say what fantastic TV this is even though it is now dated.
You could not make series in this way anymore - it is so calm and laid back but with so much tension. There are many scenes where now they would insist on a 10 minute car chases for dramatical tension.
It's all on BBC Iplayer - Recommended.

Part 3 - Moving forward
One of Mastodon's strengths is its decentralized structure. That also means no centralized marketing or development strategy focused on growth, particularly in Canada. Perhaps a volunteer group could take on that development plan and grow the Canadian user base.
- A vision of what an ideal future state would look like would benefit the planning and action steps. Collecting input from Canadian admins is recommended.
- We shouldn't burden existing admins beyond their current responsibilities. Volunteers would take actions like reaching out to politicians or government agencies.
Potential next steps:
1) Host a web meeting with interested Canadian admins to collect input on a shared vision for this project.
2) Collect volunteers who would be interested in reaching out to politicians or government agencies about creating a presence on Mastodon.
3) Select members of the group to be part of a steering committee.
4) Create a unique hashtag for this project for reporting and followers.

Wow, I sure am glad we have such diversity in the CSS world and that AIs consider all of the options fairly, instead of hypothetically being hyper focused on any specific library.

Which UI styling approach do you prefer?

  1. Tailwind + shadcn/ui (Recommended)
Tailwind for utility CSS + shadcn/ui (Radix-based) for accessible, customizable components. Best native feel
     with full control.
  2. Tailwind + Radix UI
Tailwind for styling + raw Radix primitives. More manual work but maximum flexibility.
  3. Ionic + Tailwind
Ionic provides native-quality components and transitions out of the box. Heavier but purpose-built for
     Capacitor apps.

Benchmarking of algorithms for set partitions

arxiv.org/abs/2602.01350 arxiv.org/pdf/2602.01350 arxiv.org/html/2602.01350

Abstract: Set partitions are arrangements of distinct objects into groups. The problem of listing all set partitions arises in a variety of settings, in particular in combinatorial optimization tasks. After a brief review, we give practical approximate formulas for determining the number of set partitions, both for small and large set sizes. Several algorithms for enumerating all set partitions are reviewed, and benchmarking tests were conducted. The algorithm of Djokic et al. is recommended for practical use.
