Changing NOTHING ELSE, here's what happens if I try to pad to:
- 10 mm
- 2.1 mm
- 2 mm
I must stress to you that the ONLY change I am making between these three outputs is to open the Pad editor and change the number of mm of extrusion. The solver is absolutely schizo.
Mind you that I already built a partner shape for this elsewhere in the model, which is dimensionally identical, and it went fine!

Wow. I just received an announcement by #Draft2Digital that they are going to introduce activation fees of $20 for new accounts and charge everyone(!) who doesn't make more than $100 / year a $12 fee.
I kinda get the activation fee as a hurdle to AI slop but if you generate 1000 books in an hour you are much more likely to hit the $100 threshold than someone like me who can only …

An annual maintenance fee of $12 (USD) will apply to accounts whose earnings from book sales, meaning your net proceeds after D2D’s commission, total less than $100 over the preceding 12-month period. If you earn $100 or more from your book sales over 12 months, you will not be charged this fee.

Slowly getting into a rhythm to start the day with doing a print each morning, each time still tweaking either negatives, concentrations and/or durations of different processing stages to adjust tones/hues... A new adventure with some back and forth each time!
This print is of Langkofel / Sassolungo, one of my favourite mountain massifs, just such interesting features and so many dear memories, here seen from the east (around half and hour before sunset)...
