Local return-to-office policies are helping to fuel the resurgence, said luxury real estate agent Alexander Fromm Lurie, who is the brother of San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie. The city’s existing “mansion shortage,” coupled with “a massive influx of buyers who want to be back in the city,” is making it difficult for even his wealthiest clients to find quality housing, according to Lurie.
