Das Bild zeigt die Vogelperspektive eines sonnigen Gartens mit überwiegend vertrocknetem, braunem Rasen. Im oberen linken Bereich steht eine grüne Sitzbank vor einem niedrigen Holzzaun, daneben ragt ein silberner Metallpfosten empor. Auf der rechten Seite wachsen dichte, grüne Büsche und Kletterpflanzen. Im Vordergrund befinden sich einige graue Steinplatten, Pflastersteine sowie ein kleiner Blumentopf auf der erdigen Fläche. Das Motiv wirkt stark vom Sommer geprägt.

An old, rusty, beat-up red/pink bicycle locked up to a yellow wave rack. The bike has a mixte frame with lots of paint chips (easily 30 years old). However, the wheels are newer, the silver fenders look brand new, the saddle is only a few years old, and the swept-back handlebars replace the original drop bars and also look custom and new-ish. Clearly a very well-loved bike (I suspect older than its owner!) Oh yeah, the original derailleurs and shifters were removed, and it's now a single-speed.

Gegenlicht, Sonne steht rund und hell in einer Baumkrone. Vereinzelt Bäume auf einer Streuobstwiesen, die lange Schatten in der tiefstehenden Sonne werfen . Darüber blauer Himmel mit angeleuchteten Wolken.

Xilinx Artix-7 FPGA, XC7A15T.
The die is covered in yellow polyimide film (basically kapton) which is a soft plastic that scratches super easily and has some marks despite my best attempts to keep it pristine with careful handling.
I'll try removing it with sulfuric acid later on and see how it goes. Or maybe take it into work and run it on the RIE with oxygen plasma.
There's not a whole lot to see other than the GTP quad in the southwest corner. I'll delayer at…

Fedimind: what has happened to this moth? Its abdomen is flexed sharply up so that it protrudes from beneath the wings and over the thorax; it has been motionless like this for many hours. We do not use any poisons in our house. I'm guessing it's a Silver Y moth?

a brown moth on a white windowframe, with its body sharply arched up so that it looks like a horn. The moth wings have a paler lower margin that forms a toothed pattern, with dark crescents, and there is a pale lateral band about 2/3 up the wing. the use of a flash at closeup has created a dramatic shadow showing the reflexed body.
