Hab gestern einen männlichen Prof Anfang 60 getroffen, der *keine* Seniorprofessur möchte, sondern meint, man kann ja dann zum Pensionierungszeitpunkt auch einfach mal aufhören. So erfrischend! #wissenschaft

812 (!) ansatte ved norske universiteter og hŸgskoler har skrevet under et opprop som krever at vi avslutter samarbeid med Israelske utdanningsinstitusjoner.
"Universitetsledere kan altså ikke smuldre bort institusjonens ansvar ved å peke på forskerne som de eneste ansvarlige for etisk risiko i prosjektet, ei heller kan dette ansvaret flyttes til EUs Horisontprogram eller et nasjonalt forskningsråd.

I’m sad to report that the owner of LebTav (which was split off from Lebanese Taverna) passed away. Alberto was a lovely guy, and I will miss seeing his smiling face when I would visit his store. Those of you who remember the original Shawafel on H St NE probably met him more than once. 💔

Made mini-rúgbrauð in a mug at home. I used this recipe from King Arthur, but cut it in half and changed the bake temp and added a bain marie.
Flavor is very good, but needs to be more moist. Have ideas for the next attempt. Meanwhile, this will be dinner with some lax and butter!
