I was in the process of writing a short story when all this talk of #LLM spellchecking came up. So I wrote a story that you can't actually use an LLM spellchecker on because it breaks them:
#Writing #Fiction #SolarPunk
Pues que me puse a escribir una cosa, que iba a ser un cuento cortito solarpunk y me estoy liando y me he enviciado este fin de semana... a ver si lo termino algún día.
There's a whole dystopian sci-fi plot prompt hidden here about a world that mirrors company stores, where everyone is paid partially in LLM tokens which they have to use for everything including work... Work, where they basically gamble the tokens away, always ending up in debt, needing to take out loans to buy tokens to then work for more tokens.
The story would be called "Sixteen Tons." Maybe I'll write it, but not unless it can be written as solarpunk instead of cyberpunk because the new rule is "don't write 'The Torment Nexus' because someone will think it's a good idea and implement it."
Can I please please please live in a world that joints the few good stuff of cyberpunk (bodymods, high-tech, techy implants and hotswappable bodyparts, full selfidentification, sex-positivity, etc) into a solarpunk anarchist world?
Pleeeeeease I want to have open hardware and open source brain implants and bodyparts made by hacky cute girls and no capitalist bullshit ![]()
