While the most obvious racism is being handled by many commercial LLMs they are still full of covert racism (and other forms of discrimination). Because speech, choice of words etc. are proxies for our discriminatory structures.
It's obvious that these are structural problems of LLMs, it's good that more researchers are publishing about this.

In Ukraine people can at least flee the russian advance, in Gaza there is no way out. Ordering people around to "safezones" is not a structural solution. Israel is making the textbook mistake of starting a tactical operation (Rafah) without a clear view of their strategic endgame it seems or am i missing something ?

By making a series of cuts and folds in a sheet of paper, Baker found she could produce two planes connected by a complex set of thin strips. Without the need for any adhesive like glue or tape, this pattern created a surface that was thick but lightweight. Baker named her creation Spin-Valence. Structural tests later showed that an individual tile made this way, and rendered in steel, can bear more than a thousand times its own weight.
