Serena Williams is back.
First, by teaming up with rising Canadian teenager Victoria Mboko for a straight-sets win over the No. 3 seeds in women’s doubles at the Queen’s grass-court tournament in London,
Williams sent a message to the tennis world that it may be in for an interesting summer.
Then she sent an even bigger message, by accepting a wild card into the singles at Wimbledon, which she has won seven times.

It was a plan House G.O.P. leaders hoped would satisfy everyone in their party:
With a special budget bill, they would bypass Democratic opposition and provide tens of billions for the Iran war while imposing new election restrictions Trump has demanded.

In Spain this was in the critical context of nuclear centrales being off-line. In Britain the availability of French interconnector supply is impacted by their nuclear shutting down as cooling water too hot.

AI is giving elite security orgs tools that compress security work from months to minutes. But will these powerful benefits make their way to less-resourced cyber teams?
Check out my latest CSO piece, which examines whether AI can narrow cybersecurity's class divide.
Many thanks to AWS's Steve Schmidt, Blumira's Matt Warner, Google Cloud's Anton Chuvakin, 1Password's Wendy Nather, Kaseya's Dave Baggett, and Ballistic Ventures' Phil Venables for their i…

Britain’s biggest community solar project has been forced to shut for the duration of its first summer by the government’s energy system operator to avoid overloading the local grid with renewable energy.
The north Devon solar farm was ordered to shut weeks before record high temperatures across Europe
led to power supply warnings, due to concerns that the large amount of rooftop solar in the area could destabilise the power grid by triggering a “thermal overload”.

Whatever the expectations for the July 7-8 NATO summit in Ankara, Turkey,
the geopolitical situation favors Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan so heavily that he is all but guaranteed to emerge the winner
—if NATO summits can have winners at all.
In the wake of the disastrous Iran war,
both the timing and the venue are highly auspicious.
Donald Trump told reporters that he was coming to Ankara solely for Erdogan
—another small, symbolic victory.
