we drove to negaunee ("iron city") and shopped a little. (i bought a 1963 henry mancini record and a 1930 pamphlet, "how to throw a party.")
negaunee has some cool old buildings.

Twitter / Xはアテンションエコノミーの性質が強く、多くの人の注目・関心を引き寄せることを意識させられ、また投稿できる文字数が限られているので、短く、より強く印象づける言葉を選び、投稿に至る背景や考えの説明を省く傾向が強いように感じます。
Mastodon / Fediverseでは、注目や関心を強化する仕組みが抑制的に設計されており、絶対人数の少なさや分散の構造的問題もあって、それにあまり効果がなく、またより多くの文字数が使えるので、落ち着いて、自身の言いたいことを、背景や考えを含めて丁寧に記述する傾向が強いように感じます。
