so I've got lots of reasons that I hate the inevitability of my eventual death, but the one that's currently on my mind is that after I die, I won't be able to go to all the websites where I maintain an online presence to let people know that I died... some sites have options set up to let you pass things on to a trusted friend or family member, but that requires having a trusted friend or family member who:
- understands the culture of each site that has the option
- understands what exactly to do with all of the data that gets passed on
- would be willing to actually take care of each of the sites in question
