False discovery rate control with compound p-values
In the setting of multiple testing, compound p-values generalize p-values by asking for superuniformity to hold only \emph{on average} across all true nulls. We study the properties of the Benjamini--Hochberg procedure applied to compound p-values. Under independence, we show that the false discovery rate (FDR) is at most $1.93α$, where $α$ is the nominal level, and exhibit a distribution for which the FDR is $\frac{7}{6}α$. Looking deeper into the Trion architecture.
It's definitely a lot simpler than the Xilinx architectures I spend most of my time working with. There's no dedicated carry chains after the LUTs, instead each logic cell can be configured as either a LUT4 *or* a full adder. And there's no FxMUXs.
This means that some structures like 3-input adders are much less area efficient on Trion than on e.g. 7 series.
I'm definitely going to have to do a bunch more testing …

Writing actual code amounts to maybe, if you're lucky, 10% of the work a software developer does.
The rest is meetings, high-level specifications, email and chat, more meetings, learning new things, updating stuff, lots of testing and debugging, etc.
The gist is, the supposed gains from "AI" are completely irrelevant (and indeed there's signs and studies that show it doesn't do anything for programmer productivity either).
tl;dr: This is the worst economic bubble in history, pushing a dream of a magical technology that unfortunately doesn't work, by appealing to investor greed.
