We introduce Nemotron-Nano-9B-v2, a hybrid Mamba-Transformer language model designed to increase throughput for reasoning workloads while achieving state-of-the-art accuracy compared to similarly-sized models. Counterexample to the conjectured coarse grid theorem
We show that for every $M,A,n \in \mathbb{N}$ there exists a graph $G$ that does not contain the $(154\times 154)$-grid as a $3$-fat minor and is not $(M,A)$-quasi-isometric to a graph with no $K_n$ minor. This refutes the conjectured coarse grid theorem by Georgakopoulos and Papasoglu and the weak fat minor conjecture of Davies, Hickingbotham, Illingworth, and McCarty. We investigate the Type I migration of planets in low-density cavities and inner discs of strongly magnetized young stars using global three-dimensional (3D) magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) simulations, where the strong magnetic field carves the low-density cavity.
